Located in South Goa, Palolem Beach is at a distance of 2 km in the west of Chaudi in Cancona district. Located in the southern coast, Palolem Beach is bestowed with shining white sand. Until few years ago, Palolem beach was one among the virgin beaches of Goa. But its virgin beauty attracted the attention of tourists. This beach is still not much crowded and its serene aura is still intact as only few constructions have taken place there.

Another beautiful natural attraction in this beach area is a small island across this fresh water stream. This island can be reached only by swimming in a low tide. This relatively deserted beach is about 37 km from the Margao. Being away from city, it has lesser touristy facilities like accommodation, restaurants, shopping and transport. There many eating joints serving seafood and bars offering booze. Eat, drink and merry are the favorite activity at this beach.
