Taj Mahotsav

Taj Mahotsav is a cultural festival which is held for ten days in February every year. It is hosted at Shilpagram (the Crafts Village) near the Taj Mahal. Taj Mahotsav was started by Uttar Pradesh Tourism. This festival is the platform to display the art and heritage of not only, the state but also of the entire country. Known and unknown artists give their dance and musical performance which is a matter of pride for them. Gazhals, Mushairas, display of crafts are some of the feature of this festival.

Bateshwar Fair
Located at a distance of 70 km from Agra, Bateshwar hosts Bateshwar fair dedicated to Bateshwar Mahadeo, presiding deity of the region. There are 108 temples of Hindu gods and goddesses. The fair is organized every year in the month of October or November for a month. Thousand of devotees come to have a holy dip in the river Yamuna.A cattle fair also takes place here.

Ram Barat
This is the procession of marriage of Lord Ram, the Hindu God. This is the part of Dusshera festival and is celebrated during the staging of Ram Lila, the tales from the life of Lord Ram. It passes through various parts of the city and is a colorful event. People wear bright and colorful dresses and celebrate with dance and music.
