It is known with some charming sobriquets like “City of Gardens”, Silicon Valley of India. It is called City Garden due to abundance of green areas, beautiful gardens and parks. But it is better known for its sprawling software industry and that’s why it is called as the Silicon Valley of India. Bangalore is regarded as the most progressive cities of India. It is clean, beautiful, and green and people are more cultured and educated.

According to Bangalore travel guide, this city was founded in 1537 AD by Kempa Gowda. Before that period, it was the part of the Vijay Nagar kingdom.
