
Located on the Mahatma Gandhi Road in Bangalore, the St. Cathedral Church has its own unique charm. Founded in 1808, the Cathedral was completed in 1812. In 1816, Bishop of Calcutta consecrated this. According to the history of St. Mark’s Cathedral, architecture of the church was inspired by that of the St. Paul’s Cathedral of 17th century. It is built in colonial style. There is a semicircular chancel above which a graceful dome is placed.

In the year 2008, the cathedral celebrated its bicentenary.
