Day 01 ARRIVE DELHI
On arrival at New Delhi airport, you will be escorted by our GeTS holidays representative in a private air-conditioned vehicle, to your pre-booked hotel. Rest of the evening is at leisure. Delhi is a city that bridges two different worlds. Old Delhi, once the capital of Islamic India, is a labyrinth of narrow lanes lined with crumbling havelis and formidable mosques. In contrast, the imperial city of New Delhi created by the British Raj is composed of spacious, tree-lined avenues and imposing government buildings. Delhi has been the seat of power for several rulers and many empires for about a millennium. Many a times the city was built, destroyed and then rebuilt here. Interestingly, a number of Delhi's rulers played a dual role, first as destroyers and then as creators.
Post breakfast, kick start your day and get ready to Indulge in the million colors of Delhi. Head out to visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India built by Emperor Shah Jahan. From here proceed to Chandni Ckowk. Enjoy a Cycle Rickshaw ride at this busiest market of Old Delhi. Drive past Red Fort, Rashtrapati Bhavan and India Gate. Further visit Rajghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi that marks the spot where he was cremated in 1948. Proceed further to visit "Qutab Minar ", which is a soaring, 73 m-high tower of victory, built in 1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak immediately after the defeat of Delhi's last Hindu kingdom. The tower has five distinct storeys, each marked by a projecting balcony and tapers from a 15 m diameter at the base to just 2.5 m at the top. Later visit Humayun’s Tomb, commissioned by Humayun’s wife Hamida Banu Begum in 1562. As the day retires you will be driven back to your hotel.
Day 03 : DELHI - AGRA, 220 Kilometers & 5 hours drive
After an early morning breakfast, at 7:30 am we will head to Agra via Yamuna Expressway. One of its kind, the expressway is like a dreamy drive with farmlands on both sides and encircling villages, you will reach Agra in less than 2 hours. On arrival, visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah’s Tomb also referred to as “Baby Taj” by many. The beautiful monument has elaborate carvings and is perfect to begin your Mughal affair. From there we leave for hotel, you will be checked in and can settle and rest as per your convenience. We leave from hotel and proceed to visit the Agra Fort, the centre stage of Mughal Rule and history as we know it. Learn all about the architecture, art and grandeur of Mughal rule.

Further proceed to see the City Palace, located in the heart of the old city, it is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The center of the palace is a seven storied building called Chandra Palace, with fine views over the gardens and the city. We now visit the Solar Observatory at the City Palace- an astronomical treasure house, with solar device that gives accurate predictions till date.
