After your arrival at Delhi airport, you will be welcomed by GeTS Holidays representatives with flowers. They will present you the detailed plan of your Wildlife and Bird Watching Tour. From the airport, you will be escorted to the hotel booked under the planned itinerary.

You will be served a delectable breakfast in the morning. After that you will be driven to Okhla Barrage for bird watching in the morning. With this you will get first opportunity for birdwatching during your wildlife and bird watching tour in India. The Okhla barrage bird sanctuary is a paradise for water birds. Total of 302 bird species have been found here which include Baikal Teal, Baer’s Pochard, Sarus Crane, Sociable Lapwing, Indian Skimmer, Black-bellied Tern, Grey-headed Fish Eagle, Darter and many others. Post Lunch, you will be taken to a guided sightseeing tour of Delhi. Delhi, being a historical city, has numerous famous monuments which attract travelers. You will visit Qutab Minar, Humayun’s tomb with India Gate, and driving past the President's House. Late in the evening, you will return back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the railway station to board the train to Chandigarh. This train journey will take around 4 hr. From there, our GeTS Holiday representatives will transfer you to the Narkanda which is the next destination in your bird watching tour in India. This is a comfortable and picturesque road journey (6 hr). En route, you will get opportunity for some exciting bird watching. Located amidst the pine forests, Narkanda is ski resort near Shimla. After reaching there, you will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel for dinner and over night stay.

Right in the morning, after taking gratifying meals, you start a thrilling road journey to Sangla, accompanied by our GeTS Holidays representatives. While travelling, you will have breathtaking views of stunning gorges of Greater Himalayas. Located on the right banks of River Baspa, Sangla positioned at an altitude of 8,900 ft. Scenic beauty of the valley is just captivating. After arrival at Sangla, you will enjoy evening bird walk accompanied by experienced naturalist to guide you. Overnight stay will be in tents. This is going to be the most thrilling part of your India birding tour.

Next stoppage of your Wildlife and Bird Watching Tour is Chitkul. Surrounded by the green fields and lofty mountain peaks, Chitkul is the last inhabited village in the region. You will be driven to Chitkul in the morning after breakfast. It is a leisurely drive of about 2 hrs and enroute; you can enjoy some bird watching. In the evening, our GeTS Holiday representatives will take you back to Sangla for overnight stay in the tents as the previous night.

In the morning, post morning meals, take bird walks around Sangla and fort Kamru. Fort Kamru is located at a distance of just 2 km from Sangla Valley. Fort Kamru is an important historical structure of the region and it also has a Badrinath Temple. After the dinner, you will be again escorted to the tents for overnight stay by our GeTS Holidays representatives.

Post Breakfast, early in the morning, you will be driven straight to the Saharan. This picturesque journey would take around 4 hrs. Surrounded by the apple Orchards, beautiful village of Saharan is shadowed by the Srikhand Mahadev peak which looks like Shivalinga. The village is known for Bhimkali Temple. After arrival at the village by afternoon,

post lunch, you will be spending rest of your day in bird watching and also visiting the Pheasant Breeding Centre. You will be accompanied by the experienced naturalists all the time for guiding you at this Wildlife and Bird Watching Tour. For dinner and over night stay, you will be escorted to a pre-booked hotel.

Now this day in your wildlife tour in India is really gong to be memorable. You are going to explore the wilds of pristine and untouched locales of Goshaini and Shoja. In the morning you will depart to Goshaini through Jalori Pass and Shoja, of course accompanied by our GeTS Holidays representatives. A small picturesque village Shoja is located at an altitude of 8,000 ft. It can be reached through thick jungles, alpine trees which are untouched habitat for birds. You will reach here by afternoon and have lunch here. After that, you will go for an outing on the forest logging road into the unspoiled Pheasant countryside. There you can have the opportunity to watch Pheasant attractions like Monal, Kaleej and Koklas.

Then you will start your drive again to Goshaini. Goshaini is a small village on the banks of Tirthan River. It counted among the ideal places for bird watching. Overnight stay will be at a tourist lodge at Tirthan, booked under Wildlife and Bird Watching Tour plan.

While at Tirthan, you will go for an early morning bird walk towards the Great Himalayan National Park. These walks will enrich your natural experience while at you are at jungle tour in India. The national Park is home to large number of species of Himalayan flora and fauna. In the afternoon, you will take a downstream walk along the river Tirthan. You will enjoy bird watching here as this is the region with large population of Himalayan birds. In the evening, retire to your rooms in the hotel for over night stay.

In the morning, guests will be served with appetizing breakfast to catch the energy for extended travel back to Delhi. For that, guests will be transferred to Bhunter airport by a 3 hr small road journey. At the airport, our GeTS Holidays, representative already have made all the arrangements for back journey to Delhi. After arrival at Delhi airport, you will be received and escorted to the hotel for a comfortable night stay.

Final day of your Wildlife and Bird Watching Tour is also going to be as interesting as other days. Your day will begin with a serving of sumptuous breakfast at the hotel.
