India’s ' Pearl City’, Hyderabad is a shopper’s paradise for people visiting the city. From Mughal times to the British, Hyderabad has been an important trade centre. There are many shopping places in Hyderabad that offer varieties of goods including antiques, handicrafts, leather goods, Pearls and semi-precious stones. Pearls:
Hyderabad’s specialty is cultured pearls in silver and gold ornaments. The Rice-pearl, a tiny variety makes for exquisite designs. Best is the Basra pearl, unmatched for its colour, sheen and worth. Hyderabad market, Laad Bazaar is renowned for pearls and semiprecious stones.

Jewellery:

Kalamkari:
