Alappuzha visit is one of the most memorable trips of my life; I have been there in the month of August. I got the chance to view the Nehru Trophy Boat Race which turned out to be the most mesmerizing sight of my Kerala tour.
I would never forget in my life the boat race that I viewed as it is a fantastic boat race where hundreds of rowers were racing on the snake boats at a very high speed. Being a spectator like the local people I shouted with joy! The rhythmic rowing of the boat riders and songs moved me into a state of frenzy.
Alleppey Backwaters :
Kerala backwaters attract me a lot always. When I visited Alleppey I didn’t miss it even this time. There were numerous options put in front of me by my guide in Alleppey to enjoy a backwater cruise, one was that I could hire a luxurious boat, simple boat or can experience boat cruising in a ferry. I didn’t miss one. First day I just went to the Alleppey boat jetty and like other Kerala local people bought a ticket for Rs 5 only. Such small cost for the scenic view of the enchanting surroundings fabulous! To soak in the unique houseboats I hired a houseboat and it cruised down from Alleppey to Kollam. The palm-fringed lakes, the fishing nets on the bank, the coconut groves, the chirping of birds really thrilled my mind and took me to a different world.
Experience the Holistic Healing of Ayurveda :
Since ayurveda is proven as a medically-proven treatment I dreamt to visit God’s own Country to experience its holistic healing of ayurveda treatments and massage therapies. I planned my trip and selected the Sree Krishna Ayurveda Centre in Alleppey. I was fascinated by its outer and inner ambience. Even I felt the ambience also matters in ayurveda treatment. The treatment I had taken from the expert ayurveda specialist really did wonders to my health. I also experienced an ayurveda massage done to me by a beautiful masseur with cool gestures.
