Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary

A Fascinating Sight
Aralam Sanctuary visit was an awesome experience for us. I with my two adventure freak friends planned a trip to Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary located near Iritty town in Kannur district of Kerala. We had started our drive from Kannur and the journey through the various wonders of nature.

Sometimes we stopped at the road and took some photographs of the mountains and plantations. Our drive ended at the park and we took a jeep safari to view the wildlife with a forest guide. He explained in details about the flora and faunas of the park and we missed the right time to spot the animals.

It was a safari inside the deep of the park through a small path. My friend Ashok took some photographs of the some unknown tropical trees. But I was frustrated a lot not seeing any wild animal except the jungle cat, squirrels. The driver changed the trail and we reached an open space, the other side was grassland. Suddenly our eyes caught the sight of a herd of elephants at a few meters distance.A wild environment with wild views…..
