Ponmudi

Trekking at Ponmudi :
We stayed at KTDC resort. The climate was simply superb when we trekked up to the top of the Ponmudi Hill station. The sights and the cool breeze shattered us mentally and physically. We were in a state of oblivion. We trekked two mountains and took rest at the peaks having a nice view of the valley.

We met other foreign tourists on our trail to the top. The camera was not cheating me to take perfect pictures of the valley and the blue hills. What beautiful scenery! The weather was lovely. I like to suggest booking an accommodation before a few days as accommodation facilities are limited at Ponmudi.
A Nice Place for Adventure Buff :
Ponmudi journey was unforgettable, but most memorable was the pleasant climate and nature’s bounty. I started my drive from Trivandrum in the early morning as I did not get an accommodation at Ponmudi immediately. It was just two hours drive in the morning, even it was also soul-stirring as my car crept through the greeneries of the God’s great adventure buff accompanied me. We both agreed that Ponmudiwas really a nice place for a honeymoon trip. After ending our trekking we sat in green grassland to take our lunch. We chatted with a villager, a knowledgeable man in talking who told us very many famous fables of the region.
