DAY 1: ARRIVE DELHI

Upon arrival at the Cochin Airport/Railway Station, meet the representative who will transfer you to the hotel. Check-in and relax for some time.
Delhi is the capital of India not only a city but a book that narrates the history of India. The city was built and destroyed seven times and has witnessed various events in its past. Today, it stands as the capital of India like an administrator and home to some of the world heritage monuments that unfold the saga of a bygone era. These icons are the testimony to the grandeur of past and also an attraction for the tourists

DAY 2: IN DELHI

Post breakfast; take an exciting tour of the walled city of Old Delhi. Visit Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest markets in Old Delhi and taste mouthwatering street food here. Later enjoy a rickshaw ride in the narrow streets of the busiest markets. Later visit the local spice market, Khari Baoli known for its wholesale grocery.
It is Asia's largest wholesale spice market selling all kinds of spices, nuts, herbs and food products like rice, tea and many more. Later enjoy traditional lunch at Chor Bizzare Restaurant. aPost lunch, drive past the Jama Masjid and the Red fort. Built in 1648 by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan the Red Fort, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site is believed to be modeled on the Agra Fort. Later, the day is at leisure to explore Delhi at your own pace.

DAY 3: IN DELHI – (NEW DELHI SIGHTSEEING)

Post breakfast; take the tour of New Delhi that includes Humayun's Tomb, memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, built in the year 1562. The complex is a World Heritage Site & a fine piece of Mughal architecture. Later visit the Qutub Minar built in the year 1206 by Qutub-ud-din Aibek. This world heritage site is the tallest (72m) brick minaret in the world, an important example of Indo-Islamic Architecture. Later enjoy lunch with a cooking demo with a local Indian Family in Delhi.
Post lunch, drive past the India Gate, the "Arc-de-Triomphe” of India that stands tall like an archway in the middle of a crossroad commemorating the Indian soldiers who laid their lives in the World War I & the Afghan Wars. Around 80,000 names of the soldiers have been inscribed on the walls of the India Gate. Drive past the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the official residence of the President of India that was earlier known as the Viceroy's House.

DAY 4: DELHI - AGRA


Post breakfast, drive to Agra. On arrival in Agra check in to your hotel. Visit the Spice market and witness how spices are made. Later visit the Agra Fort a UNESCO World Heritage site. Located on the right bank of the river Yamuna this massive red-sandstone fort, was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565.

DAY 5: AGRA - JAIPUR VIA FATEHPUR SIKRI

Post breakfast visit the Rambagh Golf Club for a game of Golf.

Post breakfast; visit the symbol of love, the Taj Mahal. Listed among the Seven Wonders of the World Taj Mahal was built in the fond memory of Emperor Shah Jahan’s beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. The monument took almost 22 years to build and was completed in 1653. Around 20,000 workers from all over the country and Central Asia were recruited to build this symbol of love. (TAJ MAHAL REMAINS CLOSED ON FRIDAYS). Enjoy a Tonga Ride at the Taj Mahal.
Later, drive to Jaipur en-route Fatehpur Sikri: 37 Kms from of Agra is the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri- built in red sandstone by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and deserted 14 years later because its water supply failed. Its glorious courtyards and palaces conjure up dreams of the mysterious past. Visit the Buland Darwaza, the imperial Jami Masjid, tomb of Shaik Salim Chisti and the Panch Mahal. On arrival in Jaipur, check-in to the hotel.

DAY 6: JAIPUR SIGHTSEEING

Post breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Amber Fort is a marvelous example of the Rajputana architecture with its terraces and ramparts reflected in the Maota Lake below. The fort is built in white marble and red sandstone and the interiors provide a soothing and warm ambience. Take an elephant ride while ascending the fort.
Take an elephant ride while ascending the fort. Later visit the City Palace Museum where you can see an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal Arts. The Museum showcases a collection of royal robes, pricey carpets, a huge collection of antique armory of old weapons and miniature paintings that portray battle scenes.
Later visit the Jantar Mantar the largest stone astronomical observatory in the world. The observatory has fourteen statistical instruments for measuring time, predicting eclipses and to ascertain other astronomical events. Visit the Hawa Mahal or Palace of the Winds. It has a pyramid-shaped facade with five stories and 953 small windows decorated with tiny latticework. The air circulation through the windows represents the marvelous touch of Mughal designing, which keeps the Palace cool.

DAY 7: JAIPUR - MUMBAI (BY FLIGHT)

Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel to board flight for Mumbai. On arrival, check-in to the hotel. Later part of the day is at leisure to visit the local markets and enjoy local street food in the city of dreams, Mumbai.

DAY 8: MUMBAI

Post breakfast proceed for Mumbai sightseeing. Visit the Elephanta caves that are located in Gharapuri (The City of Caves – approx. 10 kms) away from the Mumbai Harbor. The caves today are listed among the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Prince of Wales Museum is also known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya. It was found in the early years of the 20th century to commemorate the visit of the then Prince of Wales. There are about 50000 exhibits inside the museum divided into three categories- Art, Archeology and Natural History. Artifacts and relics of Indus Valley Civilization, Guptas, Mauryas, Rashtrakutas, Chalukyas and others are put here for public display. Other than this, you can behold beautiful prints, illustration of different wildlife species, paintings, manuscripts etc.
Later, enjoy Chowpatty beach visit. There you can enjoy various snacks including famous Bhelpuri, Wada Pav or Pav Bhaji. Enjoy lunch at Khyber Restaurant. Later drive to the Gateway of India. Built during the 20th century in Mumbai City, it lies at the end of Chhatrapati Shivaji Marg at the water's edge in Mumbai Harbour. The basalt arch structure was built in order to commemorate the visit of their Majesties, King George V and Queen Mary in 1911. Take a leisure stroll in the Hanging Garden, perched at the top of Malabar Hill, overlooking the Arabian Sea. This manicured terrace garden is festooned with a huge variety of plants and flower species. Visit the Juhu Beach and treat your taste buds with mouthwatering street foods of Mumbai. Some of Mumbai’s best street food and restaurants are located here.

DAY 9: MUMBAI - NASHIK (YORK WINERY)

Post breakfast drive to Nashik (170 kms - 03 hrs. approx.). Situated at 2,000 feet above sea level, Nashik is India's leading grape-growing region and famous for its wineries. On arrival at Nashik, check-in to the hotel & relax. Later visit the York Winery, which occupies seven acres of vineyards overlooking the Gangapur Dam. The main focus in the Winery is on producing fruity and dry wines, rather than the sweet ones. York Winery produces wines such as Sauvignon blanc, Chenin blanc, Rose, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, etc. The York Winery is also a great sunset destination for the guests.

DAY 10: IN NASHIK (SULA VINEYARD)

Post breakfast drive to the Sula Vineyards also known to be India's most trendy winery. From modest beginnings in the year 1997, Sula has excellently developed into a world class winery. Sula Vineyards are located to the west of Nashik, close to Gangapur Dam. Travellers visiting Sula Vineyards can enjoy Sulafest held here in February & March every year. You can also get an opportunity to taste the fine wine at the vineyards.

DAY 11: NASHIK - MUMBAI

Post breakfast, drive to Mumbai Airport to board flight to Bangalore. On arrival, check-in to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore the Silicon city on your own or relax in your hotel.

DAY 12: BANGALORE (GROVER VINEYARD)

Post breakfast in the morning, proceed for a full day excursion tour to Grover Vineyards.
Grover Vineyards is situated at the foothill of Nandi Hills, approximately 50 kms from Bangalore. It was established in 1988 by Mr. Kanwal Grover and Mr. Georges Vesselle with a view of breathing fresh life into the stagnant wine drinking culture in India. In 1988, nine varieties that responded well to Indian conditions were planted on an industrial scale on 40 acres of land at the outskirts of Bangalore.

Presently, Grover Vineyards has over 400 acres under this plantation. Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier are the two white wines & Rosé wine is another variant on offer from Grover Vineyards. Here, you get a chance to witness the winemaking process. Starting from the vineyard where a brief history of wines and cultivation is provided, it provide opportunity to leisurely walk around the surroundings and to take photographs, later move to the winery where detailed information regarding crushing, filtering, processing and packaging is provided. Later, move to the barrel room where real, imported oak barrels full of La Réserve. Here you can taste different varieties of wine. Enjoy lunch at the Vineyard. Evening is free for leisure activities.

DAY 13: BANGALORE

Post breakfast proceed for the Bangalore city tour. Visit the Vidhan Soudha – that houses the state’s legislature and secretariat, the Nandi Temple - one of oldest temple, popularly known as the Bull temple, ISKCON Srikrishna Temple, Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens. Enjoy traditional lunch at a Local Restaurant.

DAY 14: BANGALORE DEPARTURE
