Kathmandu, the capital city bustles with Nepalese heritage. Housing one of the holiest Hindu temples of the world, Pashupatinath, Kathmandu is widely thronged by tourists be it pilgrims or nature lovers. Pokhara's diverse demographies, mostly unexplored, are fun to unravel. Nagarkot's virgin beauty and pollution free haven is much sought after.

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu

On arrival at Kathmandu airport, you'll be welcomed and escorted by our representative to the hotel.

PM: Sightseeing of Patan City

Patan Durbar Square
Also known as Lalitpur or the city of fine arts. Patan Durbar Square is a concentrated mass of temples, a classic example of Newari architecture to be seen in Nepal. Listed in World Heritage Site, the former Royal Palace complex is the center of Patan's religious and social life, and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious objects.

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu-Nagarkot (32 Km, 1.5 hrs drive)

Morning after breakfast at your hotel, proceed for sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa & Bhaktapur City

Pashupatinath Temple: The most important Hindu Shrine in Nepal dedicated to Lord Shiva, on the banks of Bagmati River. The temple is shaped like a pagoda with a gold-plated roof, four silver doors, and wood carvings. Raised platforms on the banks of Bagmati are cremation sites for Hindus. Only Hindus are allowed inside the Pashupatinath courtyard.

Boudhanath Stupa (or Bodnath Stupa): One of the largest stupas in the world, most important Buddhist shrine in Nepal. It is a World Heritage Site.

Bhaktapur City (or City of Devotees): Located about 20 km east of Kathmandu, it is referred to as City of Devotees, or the 'City of Culture'. The city is full of heritage buildings, monuments, palaces, pagodas and temples. Lying along the ancient trade route between India and Tibet, Bhaktapur is surrounded by mountains and provides a magnificent view of the Himalayas.

Proceed to Nagarkot
Nagarkot is one of the popular hill station located close to Kathmandu. Nagarkot is famous for spectacular sunrise and sunset view over Himalayas. On clear day even Mt. Everest can be seen from here.

Day 03: Drive back to Kathmandu, continue driving to Pokhara (200 Km, 6-7 hrs drive)

After breakfast at your hotel, drive back to Kathmandu continue drive to Pokhara

Pokhara valley to the west of Kathmandu, is the second biggest city of Nepal. An . unplugged view of lofty peaks from Pokhara, make it a tourist's favorite. This valley is the most famous trekking starting gateway for world famous trekking areas such as to Fishtail, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri area.

You'll be escorted to a hotel on your arrival at Pokhara. Enjoy your leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 04 : In Pokhara

Early morning excursion to Sarangkot for Sunrise over Himalayas.

Sarangkot offers you panoramic views of the Annapurna Mountain Range.. Situated close to Pokhara town, it is a semi developed village located on a hilltop.. It is a two hour walk up the staircase, or you can avail a car to reach the viewpoint.

Drive back to Pokhara, Breakfast at the hotel.

PM: Half day sightseeing of Pokhara city (including Bindhyabasini Temple, Tal Barai Temple, Seti River Gorge, Davis Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Tibetan Village).
An hour's boat cruise on Phewa Lake.

Day 05: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

After breakfast at your hotel, proceed to Kathmandu

PM: Visit Budhanilkantha Temple
Budhanilkantha Temple located at the base of Shivapuri Hill in Kathmandu.It is also known as Budhanilkantha temple or Narayanthan temple and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The Lord is also known as Narayan. The deity is seen lying on Ananta Sesa, in the cosmic ocean. Lord Vishnu is about five meter long and lying in a 13m long tank, as if floating with his legs crossed with his sleeping body resting on the coils of Ananta and his 11 hooded head.His four hands hold the four symbols of Vishnu, the Shankha (conch) , Chakra (disc), Gada (club), Padma (lotus).

Day 06: Kathmandu Departure

Post breakfast you will be on your own. Go for shopping if need be or relax at the hotel.
Next, you'll be driven back to the international airport for a flight to onward destination.
