Content Writer

Position: Executive

Exp: 1-3 years

Job Description:

Create, develop and manage content focused on travel, culture worldwide, history of popular destinations, lifestyle, tourism industry and a variety of other subjects, technical and non-technical writing.
Write content (but not limited to) for online platforms such as websites, blogs, ads, training material, Social media, print media etc.
Edit content to ensure it meets the project standards for accuracy and style (checking spelling, grammar, coherence; imposing consistent style; resolving research) Assure web-based information is archived for future needs and reference, Should be updated with best practices in content for web portals, social media trends, web usability, web design, and business/industry trends
To conduct periodic check of contents’ improvement, online research, generate content for various websites and write creative unique content, develop original content for various platforms.

Required Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or a related field
Excellent written and verbal communication and proofreading skills
Skill in Social media handling shall be an added advantage
Proficient in MS Office
Attention to detail

Role:  Manager/ Senior Manager- BD

Job Description:

  • Identify new business opportunities in terms of new markets, trends, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets to confirm and close business for PCO division
  • Generate business from associations, corporates and/or agents (preferably pharmaceuticals/ medical/ non- medical?) for MICE segment and meet up with clients to work on proposals, follow ups and final closure of deal
  • Research, write and present winning proposals to associations / corporate leaders/KOLs for organizing medical conferences, congresses, conventions and meetings 
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to develop them into key accounts with a strong emphasis on securing return business as well as look for prospective clients
  • Participate in relevant industry events for networking and lead generation, reading professional publications and accessing MCI L&D resources
  • Plan weekly sales activities with a view to maximize productivity and monitor progress against pre-defined sales targets
  • Work with stakeholders in different industry sectors, academia, government, and regulatory sectors to open doors for MCI and scout for opportunities
  • Keep abreast of developments and changes within the industry and competitors’ benefits
  • Ensure appropriate internal communications to in-house teams such as Contracting, Operations, Registration as soon as prospect opportunities present themselves
  • Provide leadership, direction and support to the team whilst maintaining motivation and enthusiasm to successfully deliver on targets
  • Make a positive contribution to MCI’s business
  • Maintain accurate and up to date information in the CRM Database

Required Profile:

  • Preferable experience in PCO industry & adept at organizing medical congresses, conferences, events & conventions
  • Strong connects in Pharma companies & Medical associations will a big plus
  • Graduate/Postgraduate from a recognized university/college
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal & networking skills
  • Open for Extensive travel
