Buddhist Tour with Nepal
Destination: Delhi - Lucknow - Sravasti - Lumbini - Kushinagar - Patna - Rajgir - Bodhgaya - Varanasi - Kathmandu
Day 01- Arrival Delhi
Arrive at the Delhi International airport and feel the hearty welcome of our tour representative to your Buddhist Tour with Nepal. Land at the hotel already booked by the tour operators. Check into the hotel and if you have time and zeal, you can explore the tourist spots of Delhi- Qutab Minar, the India Gate, Red Fort, Birla Mandir, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk Bazaar, Parliament House and the other tour attractions of Delhi.
Day 02 Delhi - Lucknow - Sravasti 
After breakfast drive to the Delhi railway station to board the train for Lucknow. On arrival at Lucknow, again you have to drive to Sravasti, the ancient capital kingdom of Kosala and one of the six important cities of the Buddha’s time. It is believed that Buddha preached most of his sermons here and achieved many miracles.
Day-03-Sravasti - Lumbini
Have breakfast and start your visit to the villages Sahet and Mahet which are a home to
architectural ruins of the Stupas, Buddhist temples and the Jetavana monastery. Then start your drive to Lumbini enroute visiting Kapilavastu. Here the Lord spent the first thirty years of his life and experienced the four events that inspired him to give up worldly pleasure. At Kapilavastu Buddha had started his journey for revelation of truth and salvation.
On arrival at Lumbini transfer to hotel to spend the night.
Breakfast at the hotel. Later visit the Birth place of Lord Buddha, Lumbini where Queen Maya Devi is said to have given birth to Prince Siddhartha. It is one of the four holy pilgrimage centers of Buddhism. You will see here the ruins of ancient monasteries, a sacred Bodhi tree, an ancient bathing pond, the Asoka Pillar and the Mayadevi temple.
Later drive for Kushinagar, one of the four holy sites of Buddhism. Kushinagar is the place where Lord Buddha achieved salvation. Later afternoon visit Nirvana Temple, Ramabhar Stupa and Cremation site of Lord Buddha.
Day-05-Kushinagar – Patna
On the 5th day of India Nepal Buddhist tour, drive to Patna, the capital of Indian state Bihar. On the way visit Vaishali, this is a home to the Ashok Pillar - Lotus tank and Chaumukhi. It is considered as a holy place of Buddhism as Buddha delivered his last sermon before death. You will see here some Jain temples as it was the birthplace of Mahavira, the founder of Jainism. On arrival in Patna, take a hotel for the night.
Day-06-Patna - Rajgir - Bodhgaya
After breakfast, drive to Bodhgaya, the place of enlightenment in Buddhist beliefs. Also pay an en route visit to Nalanda and Rajgir. It is believed that Buddha spent many years of his life and delivered some of the most important sermons at Rajgir. In Rajgir, visit the Buddhist monasteries, the Stupa and Japanese temple. Also visit Nalanda, the centre of Buddhist education dates back to 5th century BC as well the first residential university of the world. In Nalanda, have a look of the aesthetic ruins of Nalanda University and Nalanda Archaeological Museum. Then again drive to Bodhgaya and on arrival, take a hotel.
Day-07-Bodhgaya
On the 7th day of India and Nepal tour on Buddhism, you will start your journey to explore the spiritualism of Buddhism at Bodhgaya. It is the spiritual home of the Buddhists as it is the place of the Buddha's Enlightenment. Visit the Mahabodhi temple complex and the temples located near it.
Day-08-Bodhgaya -Varanasi 
You will get a chance today to explore the Varanasi city, the holy city of both Buddhism and Hinduism as a part of your Buddhist Spiritualism Tour to India and Nepal. On reaching, take a hotel. Afternoon, visit Sarnath, one of the four holy sites of Buddhism where the Buddha preached his first sermon in the Deer Park. Visit the remains and the modern Buddhist temples. Explore the oldest city, Varanasi and its temples and river Ghats where thousand of devotes worship holy river Ganga.
In the first light of the dawn, have a bath in the Holy River Ganga. Come back to the hotel and have your breakfast. Then drive to the airport to catch your flight to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. On arrival at Kathmandu Airport, our tour representative will take you to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Durbar Square, the historic seat of the Nepalese Royalty. It has several old temples and palaces, displaying the religious and cultural life of the Nepalese people. Visit the Akash Bhairav Temple and other various temples.
Day-10-Kathmandu 
Today you will go to the Patan City - the ancient city of Patan also known as the city of fine arts. The city is a home to heterogonous Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments. You will be caught by the diversity of the arts and monuments of the city. Visit also
Swamyabhunath Stupa, one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal, Golden temple, also known as the Hiranya Varna Mahabihar, the interiors are decorated with images of Buddha. Also visit Bodhnath Stupa and on this colossal and ancient Stupa, you will see the all eyes of Lord Buddha.
Today your Buddhist tour with Nepal itinerary will end. Prepare to drive to the Kathmandu international airport to catch your flight for onwards destination.
