This exciting journey has a lot of thrill to unfold. Decked with a few of world’s highest motorable passes Ladakh towers over 17,000 feet. Statistically, adventure is the main reason that drives more than three fourth of the travel population to Ladakh. The geographical wealth and the Himalayan nature give access to different landscapes, which allow you to enjoy unique adventure activities like mountain biking, trekking, jeep safari, river rafting, camel safari, yak safari, ice hockey and many others. No wonder, Ladakh is called the ‘Adventure Capital of the Country’. A lot of tourists choose to trek through unexplored valleys, sparsely populated ethnic villages to unravel the majestic Himalayan abode. The region is the most popular with bikers. Bikers ride across Ladakh to reach the Chang La and Khardung La pass. The Khardung La pass is arguably the highest motorable pass in the world. Photographers make the most of Ladakh, thanks to the Tsokar, Tsomoriri and Pangong lakes that are thronged by exotic birds. Nubra valley is yet another place to keep the camera clicking.
