Visit Lake Pichola, an artificial lake created in 1362 AD. The picturesque lake is surrounded by huge hills, magnificent palaces, temples and bathing ghats. By cruising in Lake Pichola, you are sure to have a whale of a time.
Post the boat ride, walk through the lanes of Udaipur to visit Jagdish temple, an ancient Hindu temple and City Palace. The palace was constructed in the year 1559 by Maharana Udai Mirza Singh. The palace is situated on the banks of Pichola Lake and is a blend of European, Medieval and Chinese styles of architecture.
Next drive on to visit Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of Companions). Built by Sangram Singh II as a gift to queen and her maids, it is a beautiful sight to behold. The king designed the garden himself and strived to make it a relaxation place where the queen could relax with her 48 maids. Opposite to the Saheliyon ki Bari is Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal, where one can attend puppet shows (Fixed timings).
The evening ends with Lok Dharohar show, a daily evening cultural show providing the blend of Rajasthani folk dance and music.
