India, Nepal and Bhutan Tour

Destinations:  New Delhi-Agra-Bagdogra-Darjeeling-Martam-Pemayangtse- Gangtok-Jaldapara-Thimphu-Paro- Kathmandu- Chitwan- Kathmandu-Departure

Day-01-Arrival in New Delhi 

Feel the hearty welcome of our tour representative at the Delhi International Airport to your tailored India, Nepal and Bhutan Tour.. Have refreshment and rest for a while. In the afternoon, wander around the city to view the places of importance like India Gate, parliament buildings, Red Fort, Jamma Masjid, Qutub Minar, etc. In the evening return back to your hotel and have dinner.


Day-02-Delhi-Agra-Delhi

After breakfast, you have to drive to New Delhi railway station to catch your train to Agra. On reaching Agra, drive to Fatehpur Sikri, the ancient capital of the Mughal Emperor Akbar.  Explore the architectural beauty of the Fatehpur Sikri. Then visit Agra Fort and Taj Mahal. Don’t miss the beauty of Taj Mahal at sunset. The marble architecture will stun your eyes. It is built as an epitome of love by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan to immortalize his love for his beloved wife Mamtaj Mahal. In the evening, catch your train at Agra station. Reaching Delhi, go to your hotel.

Day-03-Delhi-Bagdogra-Darjeeling

On the third day of tour to India, Nepal and Bhutan, early morning take your flight for Bagdogra Airport located in Indian state West Bengal. Our tour representative will take you to Darjeeling and transfer you to the previously booked hotel in Darjeeling. Spend the first night at the hotel in Darjeeling.

Day-04-Darjeeling

Today visit the exotic places of the hill station Darjeeling. Visit the Shrubbery Garden perched on the Jawahar Parbat having stunning views of the Kanchenjunga and Singla valley. Visit Atasia Railway Loop and War Memorial. Spot wild animals at Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park which is a home to Siberian tigers, Red Panda and Himalayan Black Bear. In the afternoon, go to see the Darjeeling Rangeet Valley Passenger Ropeway, the first passenger ropeway in India. Enjoy cable car ride here. Don’t miss a Toy Train ride in Darjeeling which is still operated by steam engine.
Also visit the Sumendu Lake and enjoy the stunning views of it and its nearby areas.

Day -05-Darjeeling

Travel to India, Nepal and Bhutan will be rewarded when you will visit to the Tiger Hill of Darjeeling to have the vistas of the most stunning sunrise and the Himalayan Mountains.  Visit also Ghoom Monastery, Bhutia Busty Monastery, Dali Monastery, and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. At Ghoom Monastery, you will see an image of Maitreyee Buddha. Visit also the temples and gardens of Darjeeling.

Day-06-Darjeeling- Pemayangtse

After a sumptuous breakfast, start your drive to Pemayangtse, a Buddhist religious centre in the Indian state, Sikkim. On reaching take a hotel. Peeling is the nearest town. In the afternoon visit Pemayangtse Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim. Picturesque mountains, glaciers and abundance of rhododendron make Pemayangtse an exotic place for nature view. Today visit also Rabdentse which is known as the second capital of Sikkim. Rabdentse is rich in bio-diversity especially its orchids and rhodendron are famous. Explore here the ruins of the palaces which are preserved by Indian Archeological Society. Exploring the places, guests will return to the hotel to spend the night.

Day-07-Pemayangtse


Devote the whole day to a visit to Khechepalri Lake which is considered as a holy lake both by Hindus and Buddhists. The pilgrimages of both Hindus and Buddhists visit this lake. The lake is surrounded by green forests and vegetation ground. Thereafter return to your hotel for night stay.

Day-08-Pemayangtse- Martam

After breakfast, today start your drive to Martam located at a distance of 20 kilometers from Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim.  On reaching take a village resort for overnight stay.

Day -09-Martam- Gangtok

Early morning you will have to drive to Gangtok to explore its tourist sites as well its hidden beauty. Gangtok, a spectacular hill site perched on the snow-capped mountains of Kanchenjunga is sought by tourists for its monasteries, museums and nature spots. Go to the Tashiview Point to have a crystal clear view of the Gangtok city. Then visit Enchey Monastery, Cottage Industry, Tashiling, Market, Tibetology, Orchid Sanctuary and Rumtek Monastery.  Back to Martam and stay at your village resort.

Day-10-Martam

Today take your own choice. You can roam around the villages or visit Tshangu Lake. Enjoying fun at the Lake, come back to your resort and relax.

Day -11-Martam -Jaldapara or Dooars

Today, you have to drive to Jaldapara located in West Bengal state. Take a hotel at Jaldapara. It is perched on the eastern Himalayas foothills renowned for its wildlife sanctuary. If you have time, in the afternoon explore the Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary. You might have a view of the Asiatic one-horned rhinoceros at the sanctuary which has the second highest rhino population in India after the Kaziranga National Park of Assam.

Day 12: Jaldapara or Dooars-Thimphu

On the 12th day of India, Nepal and Bhutan Travel, you will reach the kingdom of Bhutan.  In the early morning start your drive to Phuntsholing. Our Bhutan tour representative will greet you here and take you to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. On reaching, take a hotel in Thimphu valley for overnight stay.

Day 13: Thimphu

Thimphu consists of four valleys having stunning pictures of the nature, monasteries and government buildings. Explore the treasures of Thimphu Valley. Visit to Tashichhodzong, National Library, Memorial Chorten, Arts & Craft School, Textile & Folk Heritage Museum and Handicraft Emporium. If you are a shopaholic, buy some handicrafts items at the local shopping centers of Thimphu.

Day -14-Thimphu-Paro


In the early morning, start your drive to Paro, a beautiful valley in Bhutan visited by a good number of travelers from all over the world. On arrival take a hotel. The rich tradition and culture of Paro Valley will evoke your feelings. In the afternoon, visit the National Museum of the Kingdom and roam around the valley to soak in its beauty.

Day -15-Paro

Don’t miss anything what Paro valley offers you. You can enjoy its royal beauty as well its traditional lifestyle of the local communities. Visit Durkgyel Dzong, a ruined fortress where Bhutanese warriors fought against the Tibetan armies to save their land. In the afternoon, drive to the Taktsang Monastery, perched on a hillock. You have to trek to the monastery from the ground. Visit also the traditional farm houses to feel more of Bhutan and its inhabitants.

Day 16-Paro-Kathmandu

After breakfast, start your drive to Paro International Airport to catch your flight to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Our Nepal tour representatives will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Take rest for a while at the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a sightseeing tour in Kathmandu city. Visit today the Patan city located at a distance of 3 kilometers away from Kathmandu. Explore the beauty of the Patan Durbar Complex which is home to temples, pagodas and gardens. Also today visit Swoyambhunath Temple, a Buddhist shrine.

Day -17-Kathmandu-Chitwan

Today you will start your drive to Chitwan where Chitwan National Park is located.
Take a jungle lodge here. In the evening, enjoy a cultural show at the resort.

Day-18-Chitwan

Chitwan is a district in western zone of Narayani renowned for its national park and mustard oil production.  In the early morning take an elephant ride to spot the wild animals in the park. Otherwise you can enjoy a morning nature walk near the resort. In the afternoon, enjoy a canoeing ride at a lake or river. Again explore the park by taking a jungle walk.

Day -19-Chitwan-Kathmandu

After breakfast, start your drive to Kathmandu. On reaching take a hotel. Take your own choice today. You can explore more of Kathmandu which is fascinating itself and has so much to offer to the tourists. Visit the Royal Durbar complex, gardens, museums and the temples of Hindu and Buddhist shrines. Go to the shopping centers to buy some traditional products of Nepal.

Day -20-Departure

Your last day of the India, Nepal, and Bhutan tour itinerary will be more stunning and memorable. In the early morning take a mountain flight to overview the peaks of the Himalayas. From the mountain flight, you will see the stunning vistas of the Mount Everest and other peaks of Himalayas. Thereafter guests will come back to their hotel and check out after lunch. In the afternoon, catch your flight at Kathmandu airport to your next destination.
