DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN DELHI
Upon your arrival in Delhi, our representative will meet you at the airport and assist you in your transfer to the hotel in Delhi. Delhi: This city has been the national capital of India for more than 100 years and is an idyllic symbol of the magnificent past and thriving present of India. This city fascinates its visitors with its spectacular blend of various nationalities, diverse culture and traditions, heritage of the bygone eras as old as 4th century and modernization of lifestyle and culture - all at once. This day is all yours to enjoy leisure activities and relax.
DAY 02: DELHI SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, proceed with Delhi sightseeing tour. Visit Jama Masjid - the largest Mosque in India. Visit Chandni Chowk – oldest, biggest bazaar of Old Delhi. Walk up to Fatehpuri Masjid and enjoy a rickshaw ride till Red Fort. Here our driver will meet you and drive past Red Fort (a 17th century historical fort in Delhi), to reach Rajghat, a memorial where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. An eternal flame burns on one side of this memorial. Visit the Humayun's Tomb - first garden-style tomb of India. The main highlight of this tomb, inspired by Persian architecture, is the four garden squares with water passage channels. Drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan - residence of the President of India and India Gate - an archway built in honor of the soldiers who died in World War I. Visit Qutub Minar - the tallest brick minaret in the world - that marks the beginning of Muslim rule in India. Later in the evening, head for a 60-minutes Sound & Light Show (Optional) at Red Fort that displays the making of Red Fort and the magnificent history of India. Return to the hotel in Delhi to rest for the day.
DAY 03: DELHI - AGRA (205 Km / Approx. 4 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Agra. Agra: It is a beautiful city located on the banks of River Yamuna. It is dotted various historical structures that reflect the opulence of Mughal era in India. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Later, proceed for a visit to the Agra Fort - one of the finest Mughal forts in India. This palatial red-sandstone and marble fortress houses many courtyards, a palace of Mirrors, private and public halls and Masjids (Mosques). You will then go for an excursion to the famous Marble Cottage in Agra. It is a Factory cum retail Shop of Marble Inlay Art and handmade products. Established in 1974, its mission is to spread original Indian art and craft around in the world and has been providing high-quality Indian handicrafts worldwide. Return to the hotel in Agra to rest for the day.
DAY 04: AGRA SIGHTSEEING
Day begins with an early morning visit to the Taj Mahal - a white marble edifice symbolic of the love of Emperor Shahjahan for his beloved wife. Take a dip into the saga of ‘The Taj’ and unfurl the grace and grandeur of this purest symbol of love ever built. The splendid sunrise views over this monument is the biggest tourist draw. Later, return to the hotel for breakfast. Next, you will visit the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, nicknamed as the Baby Taj, whose design even outshines the Taj. It is a breathtaking mausoleum made entirely from white marble and is surrounded by Persian-style gardens. Rest of the day free at leisure. Return to the hotel in Agra to rest for the day.
DAY 05: AGRA - JAIPUR (260 Kms / Approx. 5 Hrs) en route Fatehpur Sikri
After an early morning breakfast, check-out of the hotel. Later, drive to the beautiful city of Jaipur, also known as the Pink City of India. En route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned city of the Mughal Empire. The city boasts some of the magnificent monuments built during the Mughal era, which include the Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza and cenotaph of Sheikh Salim Chishti. You have time to explore the corners of Fatehpur Sikri before continuing way. Later continue drive to Jaipur. Jaipur: It is a city known as the Pink City of India due to extensive use of pink sandstone in various buildings of the city. Its monuments showcase a myriad of architectural styles and its vibrant bazaars are famous for traditional handicrafts. Check-in at the hotel on arrival. Day kept free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.
DAY 06: JAIPUR SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, head for Jaipur sightseeing tour with a visit to the Amer Fort. It is a hill fort built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh. This fort displays various prominent monuments like private halls, pavilions, private chambers for the King and the Rajput women. It stands as a testimony to the golden era of Rajput rule in Jaipur. The reflection of this fort falling on the Maota Lake, is truly captivating. Enjoy an Elephant ride here to and fro the fort. Next, visit the City Palace. It is the royal Palace of Jaipur located on the banks of Pichola Lake. It boasts former private and public meeting chambers of the Kings, giant silver vessels, courtyards, beautifully-designed gateways, intricately-carved private chambers of the King and much more. Visit the Jantar Mantar - an astronomical observatory that features the World’s largest Sundial - Samrat Yantra. End the day with visit to Hawa Mahal - the Palace of the Winds. This is a five-storey palace built in the year 1799 during Rajput era in Jaipur. The main highlight of this palace is the intricately-designed 953 windows adorned with beautiful latticework. Return to the hotel in Jaipur to rest for the day.
DAY 07: JAIPUR - DELHI (260 Km/ Approx. 6 Hrs)
After a nice breakfast, drive back to Delhi and our representative will transfer you to the international airport to connect flight back home.
