Day 1 : Arrival at Kochi (Cochin)
Arrival at Cochin International airport, where you will be welcomed by our GeTS Holidays representative. Assisting you with your luggage our representative will then accompany you to the hotel. Cochin is city located in the Ernakulam district of Kerala. This city displays the influence of the Arabs, British, Chinese, Dutch, and Portuguese in its ambiance. It was rated in the top 3 tourist destinations by the World Travel & Tourism Council and it was among the National Geographic Traveler's '50 greatest places of a lifetime.'

Day 2 : Kochi (Cochin)
After breakfast, proceed with Cochin sightseeing with visits to the Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Dutch Palace and the popular Chinese fishing nets. In the evening, walk around the Marine Drive. Later, go for a jetty ride to soak in the charm of the Cochin backwaters.

Day 3 : Kochi (Cochin)- Athirapally
After breakfast, drive to Athirapally waterfalls (1000 ft above sea level) located in the Thrissur district of Kerala.

Day 4 : Athirapally - Munnar
After breakfast, head to Munnar (1600 mt above sea level). It is a hill town located in the Idukki district of Kerala. It is the largest tea-growing region of South India as it is covered with emerald green rolling hills dotted with lush tea plantations. Head to a Tea factory Museum to witness the tea-making process. Spend time clicking photographs of the widespread tea plantations.

Day 5 : Munnar Sightseeing
On this day, go for an excursion to the Eravikulam National Park. It is widely known for its endangered inhabitant - the Nilgiri Tahr. Drive to Mattupetty, about 13 kms from Munnar. The Mattupetty Dam and lake are the main attractions here.

Day 6: Munnar- Thekkady
After breakfast, drive to Thekkady that is best known for its Periyar Tiger Reserve and widespread spice plantations spread across the district. On reaching Thekkady, relax for some time and later, witness the oldest martial form of Kerala - Kalaripayattu. It is widely known as the Mother of all martial arts.

Day 7: Thekkady Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit the Periyar Tiger Reserve. Here, you can see a wide range of wildlife species namely the Asian elephant, tiger, Indian bilson, sambar deer, Indian wild dog, Leopard, barking deer etc. The Periyar Lake amidst the settings of Periyar Tiger Reserve is a popular tourist spot for a boat ride. You can also enjoy an elephant ride here traversing through the core areas of this reserve. In the evening, for a short walk for spice plantations to connect with nature. Thekkady is undoubtedly the heartland of spices as it grows more than 12 varieties of spices including ginger, garlic, vanilla, cardamom, pepper, coffee, tea, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon etc.

Day 8: Thekkady- Kumarakom
After breakfast, proceed with a drive to the Kumarakom bird sanctuary in Kumarakom. This 14-acre bird sanctuary, located on the banks of Vembanad Lake, acquaints you to a variety of migratory birds especially the Siberian cranes. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 9: Kumarakom - Houseboat (O/n houseboat)
After breakfast, board a houseboat in Kumarakom. Check-in into a traditional Kerala houseboat called “Kettuvalam”. Go on a leisure houseboat ride through the Vembanad Lake - one of the longest lakes in India. Enjoy all modern comforts in the houseboat inspired by centuries-old Kerala craftsmen, while you discover the backwaters of Kerala at your own pace. You will be served with Lunch followed by evening snacks, dinner and breakfast next day, in the houseboat. At night, your houseboat ride will halt near a village in Alleppey.

Day 10: Alleppey - Kovalam (169 kms/ 4 to 5 hours)
After breakfast, check-out at the houseboat and drive to Kovalam. This tranquil town is dotted with strings of coconut tries and its calm beaches make it an ideal spot for swimming and water sport activities.
On arrival, check-in at the hotel in Kovalam. Day free at leisure.

Day 11: Kovalam Sightseeing

Day 12: Kovalam - Trivandrum - Kovalam (20 / ½ per way)
After breakfast, day at leisure or you can visit the Thiruvanthapuram city (optional tour) famous for its Sr. Padmanabhaswamy temple, Museum and Padmanabhapuram Palace.

Day 13: Kovalam - Kanyakumari
After breakfast, you can go for an excursion to Kanyakumari (optional tour) surrounded by hills, paddy fields, sea-shores and bountiful coconut trees. It is the southernmost tip of India and is the confluence point of the three great oceans - Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean. Also, visit the ancient Padmnabhapuram Palace and Suchendra Temple.

Day 14: Kanyakumari - Thiruvanthapuram Departure
Enjoy a hearty breakfast. Later, check-out from the hotel at 12 noon and our company representative will transfer you to the Thiruvanthapuram Airport to connect your flight for your onward journey.
