Day 01: Arrive Cochin

On your arrival at the Cochin International airport, our representative will meet and welcome you. Later on, he will assist you to transfer to Cochin Hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.

Day 02: Cochin-Munnar (140 Km / 04 Hrs)

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and you will drive for the sightseeing of Cochin. The following places will be included in your visit:


St. Francis Church St. Francis CSI Church, in Kochi, earlier called Cochin, originally built in 1503, is the oldest European church in India and has great historical significance as a mute witness to the European colonial struggle in the subcontinent. The Portuguese explorer, Vasco da Gama, died in Kochi in 1524 when he was on his third visit to India. His body was originally buried in this church but after fourteen years, his remains were removed to Lisbon.

Fort Kochi Fort Kochi Fort Kochi is a region in the city of Kochi. This is part of a handful of water-bound regions toward the south-west of the mainland Kochi, and collectively known as Old Kochi or West Kochi. Adjacent to this is Mattancherry. In 1967, these three municipalities along with a few adjoining areas, were amalgamated to form the Corporation of Cochin.

Jewish Synagogue The prosperous Jewish trading community built the Jewish Synagogue in 1568 whose links with Kerala begin in Kodungallor (Cranganore) in the north of the state. The oldest synagogue in India, almost 200 years old, it was partially destroyed in the war of 1662 and was rebuilt by the Dutch. Its architecture comprises of floors paved with exquisite hand-painted blue willow tiles from China and ceiling adorned with Belgian chandeliers. ALso, visit the 18th century Clock tower located next to the Jewish Synagogue.

Chinese fishing nets Fishing net The Chinese fishing nets (Cheena vala) are fixed land installations for an unusual form of fishing — shore operated lift nets. They are mostly found in the Indian state of Kerala. Huge mechanical contrivances hold out horizontal nets of 20 m or more across. Each structure is at least 10 m high and comprises a cantilever with an outstretched net suspended over the sea and large stones suspended from ropes as counterweights at the other end. Each installation is operated by a team of up to six fishermen.
After lunch, we will drive you to Munnar. Throughout your journey to Munnar, see the different facets of nature’s beauty. You will get to see the pristine stream, lovely waterfall and the well organized tea bushes and spice plantation filling the surrounding air with its refreshing aroma. On arrival at Munnar, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Munnar.

Day 03: Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, go for Munnar sightseeing tour. Munnar is blessed with heavenly beauty and blissful ambiance. Here visit the picturesque tea plantation hills with never-ending tea bushes, Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake and Rajmalai. Also, visit Eravikulam National Park, home to rare and endangered mountain goat also called Nilgiri Thar. Overnight stay at hotel in Munnar.

Day 04: Munnar-Thekkady (110 Kms/ 3 and ½ Kms)

After breakfast, proceed for Thekkady. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Later, we will drive you to visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. It is one of India's most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries, where one can watch wildlife at close range. The vegetation, flora & fauna and birds are uniquely rich & varied and do not bear semblance to any other wildlife sanctuaries in the world. Even a casual visitor to this place will not fail to observe the special ecological pattern. The very sound of the name conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of tea & spice-scented plantations. The sanctuary is one of the best in the country for watching & photographing wildlife. Notable among the inhabitants are the tigers, majestic Asiatic wild elephants & distinctive Nilgiri Langur.


Day 05: Thekkady – Kumarakom (145 Kms / 4 Hrs)

After breakfast, check-out of the hotel and head to Kumarakom - a scenic village located at the picturesque bank of the Vembanad Lake. On arrival, directly visit to the exotic Kumarakom bird sanctuary and see varied species of colourful as well migratory birds in the park. The bird sanctuary is also termed as Ornithologist’s Paradise. Later, check-in at the hotel and relax awhile. In the evening, enjoy sunset cruise in Vembanad Lake. Later, return back on time to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Kumarakom.

Day 06:Kumarakom-Alleppey (Houseboat)

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey. Also known as Alappuzha and called Venice of the East, it is a town with picturesque canals, backwaters & lagoons, a wonderful past, it owes its existence to the sagacious Diwan Raja Kesavadas in the second half of 18th century. Kuttanad, the rice bowl of Kerala with the unending stretch of paddy fields, small streams & canals with lush green coconut palms, was well known even from the early periods of the Sangam age. History says Alappuzha had trade relations with ancient Greece & Rome in the pre Jesus era. Alleppey is now the hub for backwaters tourism in Kerala.

On arrival, we board the Houseboat, locally called Kettuvallam, cruise around backwaters of Alleppey to observe & experience the daily life of the villagers along the backwaters. Holidays on the houseboats are an out-of-this-world experience. Enjoy delicious dinner at houseboat. Overnight stay at houseboat in Alleppey backwaters.

Day 07:Alleppey-Cochin (54 Kms)

After breakfast and leisure time on houseboat, boat arrives at Alleppey finishing point jetty at 09:00 Hrs. Check-out from the houseboat and proceed toward Marari Beach and enjoy sightseeing at Marari Beach. Later, transfer to the Cochin airport for boarding floght for your onward destination.
