Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu
As you arrive at Kathmandu airport, you will be welcomed by our GeTS Holidays representative and escorted to the hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu-Nagarkot Patan city, Changunarayan. Drive to Telkot, hike Telkot-Nagarkot

Morning, visit Patan city. Patan City — Patan Durbar Square Also known as Lalitpur or the city of fine arts. Patan Durbar Square is a concentrated mass of temples, a classic example of Newari architecture to be seen in Nepal. Listed in World Heritage Site, the former Royal Palace complex is the center of Patan's religious and social life, and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious objects.

Afternoon visit Bhaktapur City
Bhaktapur City — Located about 20 km east of Kathmandu, it is referred to as City of Devotees, or the 'City of Culture'. The city is full of heritage buildings, monuments, palaces, pagodas and temples. Lying along the ancient trade route between India and Tibet, Bhaktapur is surrounded by mountains and provides a magnificent view of the Himalayas.

Nagarkot Travel

Continue drive to Telkot, hike Telkot-Nagarkot
Nagarkot, located 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu, is one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur district and is renowned for its spectacular sunrise view of the Himalaya when the weather is clear. Visitors often travel to Nagarkot from Kathmandu to spend the night so that they can be there for the breathtaking sunrise. Nagarkot has become famous as one of the best spots to view Mount Everest as well as other snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal. It also offers an excellent view of the Indrawati River Valley.

Day 3: Drive back to Kathmandu. Continue drive to Chitwan (185 Km, 5-6 hrs drive)

After breakfast at your hotel, drive to Chitwan

Drive along scenic mountain highway to Chitwan. Upon arrival, we will be met and welcomed by the naturalist from the jungle lodge. Check in at the resort. Afternoon, Tharu Village visit. Tharus are believed to have an innate resistance to malaria, and until the 1950s they were the only residents of the formerly malaria-infested jungles, allowing them to develop a unique culture independent from the rest of Nepal. Tharus are predominantly Hindu, but their religion also incorporates elements of Islamic, Buddhist and Animist beliefs, with each village and household having their own protective deity.Overnight at Resort in Chitwan

Day 04: Full-day of Jungle activities

The Chitwan National park is one of the finest national parks in Asia, and a World Heritage site since 1984. The park shelters some endangered species such as The Royal Bengal Tiger, One horned Rhinoceros, Leopard, Gaurs, as well as Sloth Bear.
Afternoon, jungle activities including nature walk to see birds and smaller animals, dugout canoe ride to see crocodiles and water-birds etc. Evening, enjoy Tharu Stick dance or slide presentation on wildlife of Nepal.

Day 05: Drive Chitwan – Tansen (196 Kms/ approx. 4-5 hrs)

Morning, drive to Tansen along a scenic mountain highway. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel. Tansen offers a panoramic view of the high Himalaya. From west to east, the Kanjiroba, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Mansiri, Ganesh and Langtang groups are in sight. Rest of the day is free.Overnight at Hotel in Tansen

Day 06: Drive Tansen – Pokhara (60 Kms/2.5 hrs)

Morning is free for personal activities. Early afternoon, drive to Pokhara along a scenic mountain highway. Pokhara is famous for lakes and snowcapped mountains.

Day 07: In Pokhara

Early morning excursion to Sarangkot
Afternoon, commence on a sightseeing tour of Pokhara city and its colorful bazaars. Visit includes Devis fall, Seti gorge, Gupteshwor Mahadev cave, Bindabashini temple.

Hike to Peace Stupa
World Peace Pagoda, a massive Buddhist stupa is situated on the top of a hill on the southern shore of Phewa Lake. Besides being a impressive sight in itself, theshrine is a great vantage point which offers the spectacular views of the Annapurna range, Phewa Lake, and the Pokhara city. We Climb the Raniban forest crossing the suspension bridge. After the 2 hours of walk we reach stupa and enjoy the spiritual and scenic beauty. Climbing down from Pagoda is more enjoyable with the view of Phewa Lake and the mountains. We cross he lake after the 20 minutes of boating with the visit to island temple (Barahi temple) in the middle of lake.

Day 08: Drive back to Kathmandu (210 Km, 4-5 hrs drive)

After breakfast at your hotel, drive back to Kathmandu

Kathmandu Durbar Square:
Kathmandu Durbar Square, at the heart of the city, is a leading cultural site of Nepal. Better known as the Hanuman Dhoka Square (UNESCO World Heritage Site) it was built by King Pratap Malla at the entrance of the palace. The complex is dotted with Hindu and Buddhist Temple.
The Palace Complex was the royal Nepalese residence until the 19th century and is the site of important ceremonies, such as the coronation of the Nepalese monarch. It houses the King Tribhuwan Memorial Museum (exhibits artifacts used during the reign of King Tribhuvan who was famous for his valor) and the Mahendra Museum.

After visit, continue to Swoyambhunath stupa located at hilltop overlooking Kathmandu valley. Swoyambhunath stupa is also known as “Monkey temple” and is popular for view of Himalayas and entire valley floor.

The history of Kathmandu Valley is said to have started with the beginning of Swoyambhu. The largest image of the Sakyamuni Buddha in Nepal is in a monastery next to the stupa. Behind the hilltop is a temple dedicated to Manjusri of Saraswati - the goddess of learning. Statues and shrines of Buddhist and Hindu deities dot the stupa complex.
