Abhaneri Private Tour: Chand Baori and Harshat Mata Temple

After pickup from your hotel in Jaipur at around 8 a.m., drive to the village of Abhaneri. Upon arrival in Abhaneri, visit the Abhaneri stepwell known as Chand Baori. It's one of the oldest and most popular attractions in Rajasthan. The structure was built in the ninth century to harvest rainwater and offer cool respite from intense heat. It has 3,500 narrow steps descending 13 stories, up to 100 feet (30 meters).  Later continue to the Harshat Mata Temple. An architectural splendor built between the 9th-10th century, the temple now stands in ruins after it was destroyed and damaged by a Mughal emperor. Journey inside the temple and admire the amazing medieval Rajasthani architecture.
