Itinerary

Your tour begins with a pick up from the meeting point - outside Rajeev Chowk metro station gate number 5.

You will then be driven towards Red Fort - a 17th century historical fort in Delhi. Get off the vehicle for a photo opportunity and get to know the history of this UNESCO World Heritage Site from your guide.

You can then take a rickshaw ride from Red Fort to Jama Masjid, making your way through the bazaars of Old Delhi. Get to discover the charm of this part of the capital city and finally reach Jama Masjid. Located in the heart of Old Delhi, Jama Masjid is the largest active mosque in India which was commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1650 and 1656.

 

Afterwards, board the vehicle and once again drive past Red Fort to reach Rajghat – a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation.

India Gate :drive past India Gate - an archway built in honor of the soldiers who died in World War I .

Humayun's Tomb Then, visit Humayun’s Tomb - the first garden-style tomb of India. Inspired by Persian architecture, the four garden squares with water passage channels surrounding the tomb is the main highlight of the entire complex.

Afterwards, you will visit Qutub Minar – the world’s tallest brick minaret. A declared UNESCO world Heritage Site, Qutub Minar was built by Qutab-ud-din Aibak in 1193 to mark the beginning of Muslim rule in India.

Connaught Place is the business and financial hub centered on a ring of colonnaded Georgian-style buildings. Home to many great shopping options, here you can visit the famous flea market – Janpath and test your bargaining skills while buying clothes, trinkets, footwear, and much more. You can also visit the Central Cottage Industries Emporium to get your hands on some authentic Indian crafts including jewellery, pottery, papier mâché, jootis, brassware, textiles, beauty products, and miniature paintings etc.

Finally, you will be driven back to the drop off point - outside CP metro station gate number 5
