After breakfast, check out the hotel and enjoy the sightseeing tour of the city. Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a vibrant city, also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala. The ruler of Kochi allowed the Portuguese to construct a fort next to the waterfront here, thus, emerged Fort Kochi. Also called Fort Emmanuel, Portuguese planned their livelihood around the church with settlements and church. Starting with the visit to St. Francis church, the first church of colonial era where Vasco-Da-Gama's body was buried before being taken to Portugal; you'll also come across Dutch cemetery, Santa Cruz Basilica, Indo Portuguese museum and Cochin Thirumala Devaswom Temple, Willingdon Island here.

Later in evening, witness a Kathakali dance performance. Kathakali is the most recognized dance form of Kerala. A traditional Kathakali performance began at dusk continued through the night, culminating at the auspicious hour of dawn, when Good finally conquers Evil. Now, of course, shorter performances are more the norm! Costumes and makeup are dramatically characteristic of the dance, and the technique involves highly intricate gestures and expressions.

After leisurely breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and then drive to Alleppey. Upon arrival at the jetty, board the houseboat. Enjoy a houseboat cruise through Alleppey, also called “Venice of the East", which has a large network of canals that meander through the town and surrounding villages. 

The Snake Boat Race held every year in August in the backwaters is a major attraction here. The Kerala backwaters are a vital waterway for the transport of goods, people and their produce, and are often the only link between isolated villages and crowded towns.

After breakfast you will disembark houseboat and then drive to Kovalam; upon arrival in Kovalam, check in at a hotel and relax. The name Kovalam means 'grove of coconut trees' and the name does not disappoint. The beaches of Kovalam with their endless expanse of coconut groves are truly idyllic. The area comprises a string of four sandy bays separated by rocky promontories. About 16 kms from Thiruvananthapuram, Kovalam is one of India’s internationally renowned beaches.

Today after breakfast, enjoy a half-day sightseeing trip of Trivandrum. Visit the Napier Museum, which boasts of a "natural" air-conditioning system, and houses a rare collection of archaeological and historic artifacts - bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot and ivory carvings. Located near the Museum, the Shree Chitra Kala Art Gallery displays select paintings of Raja Ravi Varma, Svetlova and Nicholas Roerich, and exquisite works from the Rajput, Mughal and Tanjore schools of Art. Visit the Kuthiramalika Palace, built by the King of Travancore. The palace museum displays paintings and various priceless collections of the royal family. Continue your tour with a visit to the Padmanabha Swamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The presiding deity in here is Lord Vishnu reclining on Anantha the serpent. Next visit Kowdiar Palace, the home of the late Maharaja Sree Chitra Thirunal Balarama Varma and his family. End your tour with the Veli Tourist Village, a beautiful picnic spot where the Veli Lake merges with the Arabian Sea.

Today, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Bangalore, also known as ‘The Garden City’. Visit Cubbon Park, the 120-hectare lush, grassy expanse of rolling lawns with colourful flowerbeds located near the Vidhan Soudha, Next take a tour of the Vidhana Soudha, one of the most imposing buildings in Bangalore. Built in the Neo- Dravidian style, it houses the Legislative Chambers of the state government. Also visit the Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens. Next, proceed to the famous Bull Temple, dedicated to Nandi Bull- built in the Dravidian style; the temple houses a huge monolithic idol of Nandi. Conclude you tour with a visit to Tipu Sultan’s Fort, the summer residence of Tipu Sultan. The Palace inside the fort is a two-storied wooden structure, carved out of teakwood with decorated pillars, concave arches and balconies.
