Nepal is well-known to have historic and architecturally rich sites to which we will be visiting during this Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour. You will get an opportunity to explore them all in a hassle-less way via private car. Mix with the local crowd and roam around the large Kathmandu Durbar Square; soak in the essence of the capital’s rich temples like the Swayambhunath and Pashupatinath Temples. You can also explore the museums in Patan which is also called as Lalitpur and marvel at the largest spherical stupas across Nepal in Boudhanath Stupa.
Begin your tour by visiting Kathmandu Durbar, one of the UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Sites. You can find several ancient temples and palaces, large courtyards and streets each dating back to over 12th and 18th centuries.
Next, you will visit another UNESCO World Heritage Site called Patan Museum which is located in Patan. The museum inaugurated in 1997 displays the traditional sacred arts of Nepal in an illustrious architectural setting.
Next you will visit Patan Durbar Square is situated at the centre of the city of Lalitpur in Nepal. It is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Swayambhunath Temple is another heavenly attraction you’ll visit. It is a Buddhist Temple over 2500 years old and it is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and a lofty conical spire covered by a pinnacle of copper gilt.
After wandering around the historic temple, visit another stunning Temple, Pashupatinath. This temple serves as a seat to Pashupatinath, an avatar of Lord Shiva.
Boudhanath Stupa will be the last attraction which displays beautiful mandala making it one of the biggest spherical stupas across Nepal.
